Torna
Torna Fort is situated about 40 km southwest of Pune and is the first fort which was conquered by Shivaji in 1643. Shivaji renamed the fort Prachandagad, and constructed several monuments and towers within it. It is the highest fort in Pune district.

How To Go:-

• From Pune:-
From Pune you need to go Swargate S.T Stand.S.T Bus goes upto Velha village.but the frequency is very less.So One go to "Nasrapur Phata" & from there you will get a jeep transport upto velha.velha is the Base villgae.you will require 3 hrs to climb the fort by this way.


• From Rajgad:-
  A Mountain ridge that comes from Rajgad,will let you on Torna.To reach Torna from Rajgad,you need to decend Rajgad by Alu Darwaja & from there you need to cross 13 hills.After crossing these hills there is 1 Rockpatch near one Bastion of Torna.After climbing this patch you will be on Budhla Machi Of Fort.
  
  

Facsinating Spots:-

This Fort Is Very Big.Shivaji Maharaj Renames it as "Prachandgad".This Fort is Made up Of 2 Strong "Machi" , Zunzar Machi & Budhla Machi.Budhla Machi Is Very Large in Size.On Budhla Machi There is A Pinnacle Called "Budhla".

Water Availability:-
Sufficient Water Available in water tanks Of The Fort.

Food Availability:-
One should make their own food on Fort but at the Base village velha there is a Hotel

Shelter Availability:-
In Mengai Mandir 50-60 people can Accomodate.
