Gorakhgad
Gorakhgad is one of the Famous fort these days for trekking because of it's easy but
somewhat thrilling Climb.There is a dense forest near to Gorakhgad & it's adjacent Macchindragad.Some Hardcore Trekkers Do Siddhagad To Gorakhgad Trek. This Fort had
importance in the period of Shahaji Raje.This fort has been used only for keeping eye on nearby regions.

How To Go:-

• From Kalyan:-
'Dehri' is the base village of Gorakhgad which near to murbad. To reach Dehri first you need to come murbad by S.T or jeep from kalyan.and from murbaad a S.T directly goes upto Dehri.Or there is regular transport of jeep & Rickshaw is available upto "Mhasa Phata". & from mhasa you can go to dehri by jeep or rickshaw.

• From Shahapur:-
  From Shahapur Reach To Dolkhamb & from there you can come to dehri by Rikshaw,jeep or Bus.But Frequency of Transport from here is not much.
  

Facsinating Spots:-

After climbing upto Door.There Are 2-3 water tanks.after that you will reach near the large cave.To reach the top there are rock-cut steps which take you to the top.On the top of the fort there is small mahadev temple.

Water Availability:-
Much water availalble in Tanks.

Food Availability:-
You Have To Make Your Own Arrangement of food.

Shelter Availability:-
Around 30-40people can accomodate in the cave.
